You should still have yourname-Cellphone.aep open in After Effects. Play the video and notice that this is the same footage of the woman’s hand holding a phone, but with the Cellphone logo instead of the boring blue. On the Desktop, navigate to Class Files > After Effects Level 2 Class > Cellphone > Finished Clips and double–click Cellphone Phone Screen Replacement.mov.
Previewing What You’ll Make in This Exercise To ensure we get a great result even when the phone wobbles or rotates, we’ll do our 4-point tracking in mocha AE, an application that installs with After Effects. However, this time we need to ensure that all four corners of Janet’s phone get tracked. In a previous exercise, we tracked a single point on a moving item. To do so, we’ll need to use motion tracking to define which area will be covered by this graphic. Let’s give her phone a makeover by compositing the Cellphone logo onto it. Now that we’ve removed the blue screen from Janet’s phone, it’s ready for a more inspiring background.
